We welcome you to Nashville, Tennessee.  Our family reunion provides the opportunity for our children to find a greater appreciation for our family’s history, its pride and to rejoice in our ancestors’ accomplishments. We want this gathering to stimulate them to follow in their footsteps. In our view, this is the substance of this reunion, this celebration.

There will be fun things to do. This will include a cocktail affair at our home, tours of Nashville’s historic and scenic sites, visits to Nashville’s four historically Black universities of higher learning—Fisk, Meharry, Tennessee State and American Baptist College, a shopping opportunity and the option of attending the Grand Ole Opry or a dinner cruise on the General Jackson Riverboat. And as is our tradition, we will hold our Family Reunion Banquet on Saturday evening, July 12th, which is so central to our coming together and makes for the perfect capstone for our reunion.

In conclusion, Sandy and I extend our genuine appreciation to Marcia and Terrence for their superb work in establishing this Hill Family Reunion website. It constitutes an invaluable communication conduit; we are grateful for their skill and time.

We hope to see all of you in July here in Music City, USA!
